Narendra Modi is the current Prime Minister of India. He was born on September 17, 1950 in Vadnagar, India. He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at a young age and later became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He held various positions within the party and the government of Gujarat, including serving as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014.

2014, Modi led the BJP to a historic victory in the Indian general elections and was sworn in as the Prime Minister on May 26 of that year. He was re-elected as Prime Minister in 2019.
